Dr. Wise is an optometrist who specializes in behavioral optometry including vision therapy. She is a graduate of Troy State University with a degree in Physics and received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is a Fellow in the College of Optometry in Vision Development and is a part of the Heart of America Contact Lens Society. She is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy.

 

Several years ago, together with a PT named Ron Hruska, Heidi founded PRI Vision®. This began an exploration in the fascinating realm of integrative medicine practice with physical therapists. As her years of teaching these integrative principles continued, she moved from Lincoln, Nebraska to Savannah, GA. Here she teamed-up with Mike Cantrell and founded Postural Vision® and Vision Integration Consulting® (VIC®)a more highly advanced, actively-integrative arrangement that includes live, ongoing interaction with 3 disciplines: Optometry, Dentistry and Physical Therapy in the same room at the same time.

 

The advancements that she has directed have resulted in new outpourings of information for the student learner. Her passion for teaching the science of interdisciplinary management of the true vision patient is currently unparalleled.
