About the Course

The ALF 4 Body Lab Series is Applied Integration Academy’s advanced, hands-on learning pathway for practitioners who want to translate whole-body principles into precise, practical ALF care. Led by Dr. Alice Lam, DDS, each laboratory is intentionally limited to approximately 6–10 participants, creating space for personalized instruction, meaningful repetition, peer collaboration, and real-time feedback.

Grounded in the AIA model and the original treatment intent established by Dr. Darick Nordstrom, the series explores the reciprocal relationship among cranial motion, occlusion, body organization, and human movement. Participants learn to connect objective functional findings with ALF design, fabrication, seating, fitting, and adjustment—developing stronger clinical reasoning and greater confidence in making decisions informed by the patient’s observed functional response.

Each ALF 4 Body course offers a distinct learning experience. Previous courses have included:

  • Fabrication Labs build an understanding of ALF anatomy, wire behavior, three-dimensional bending, appliance fabrication, and precision fitting.

  • Application Labs integrate fabrication…
